Last time we visited Crete we used this company. They gave us a promo code for using them again.
WARNING: They're not a premium airport car rental company like Hertz or Europcar.
They were English speaking and easy to talk to on Whatsapp. They dropped the car off to our villa and we left the keys under the drivers seat for collection.
They don't require a deposit, check fuel or inspect the vehicle to try and charge for damages on return.
